Christopher D. Mannix, Esquire manages the Firm’s litigation. He is admitted to the Bars of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, as well as several Federal Courts (Third Circuit Court of Appeals; Eastern District of Pennsylvania; and District of New Jersey).
Chris earned his B.A. in Economics from New York University in 1978 and his J.D. from Rutgers University School of Law-Camden in 1986.
As a trial lawyer, Chris has practiced at the plaintiff’s bar, the insurance defense bar, the workers’ compensation bar (both claimant and employer), and the criminal defense bar. His experience includes plaintiff’s personal injury (products liability, civil rights, accidents, medical malpractice); the defense of business, commercial and personal injury lawsuits; and white collar and other criminal defense. Chris has tried more than 30 jury trials to verdict (in the state courts of Pennsylvania and New Jersey, and in Federal Court).
Approximately a dozen of Chris’ cases have gained exposure in the press, and they illustrate the diversity of his experience: for example, the settlement of a Federal employment discrimination suit, as reported in
The Legal Intelligencer, and the winning of consecutive acquittals for a criminal defendant, as reported in the
Philadelphia Daily News.
